What it doesn’t do
“It doesn’t answer your phones. Your people stay the voice of the business. It works the inbox behind them.”
We put that limit on the table before we make a single promise. And the businesses that buy from us keep telling us the same thing: the limits were what sold them. In one customer’s words, on tape, after a previous vendor’s three-and-a-half-grand “AI receptionist” fell apart six hours into onboarding: “the fact that it was like, it doesn’t do this is what sold me.” That’s Grant, Parker Blinds.
Nearly all of them had been sold something before. Something that was going to do everything. Overpromise is how their last vendor burned them.
So this page is the full list. Every edge of what we sell. Every setting that ships switched off. The four laws that never move. Where your data sits. In writing, so you can hold us to it.
If something here is a dealbreaker, better you find it now than three months in.
The short version
If you keep one section of this site, keep this one.
What it is. A done-for-you assistant for Australian trade businesses. It answers every emailed lead within minutes, any hour. It gathers what’s needed to quote. It loads the job card into ServiceM8 or Simpro. It runs on the business’s own agent, on a server ZeroToClaw sets up and runs for it, and the data stays the business’s own. The package is called Never Miss a Job, and it is the agent’s first role.
Who it’s for. Australian trade businesses with five to fifteen people, running ServiceM8 or Simpro, with more enquiries than the office can answer. If you run neither system, this isn’t for you yet. If you want AI answering your phones today, we’re not it.
How it works. It watches your inbox. It replies within minutes, in your words, and asks for everything it needs in one email, not twenty. It keeps the thread alive until the details are in. It creates the job card in your ServiceM8 or Simpro. At knock-off, a summary of all of it lands in your WhatsApp.
The limits. It doesn’t answer phone calls yet. It doesn’t quote prices unless you switch that on, when we offer it. It drafts until it has earned the keys.
The money. A one-off install, then a flat monthly with everything in. Plain Australian dollars, GST stated beside every figure. Monthly items cancel with 30 days’ notice. The numbers are on the pricing page.
The data. Your own locked-down server. Sign-in like Google, no passwords held. Backed up before it touches a thing.
The straight answer. It never pretends to be human.
What’s out, what’s off, what’s not yet
Every row here is where things stand today. Settings move when you ask. Versions add doors. The laws further down never move.

It doesn’t Answer your phones.
Where that stands todayNot yet. Your people stay the voice of the business, and the assistant works the inbox behind them.
The reason, straightTwo honest reasons. Your phones are where your people earn you the most, so it’s the last place we’d put a machine. And we don’t think AI is good enough yet at holding a real trades call, so we won’t sell you one that isn’t. We’re watching that space closely, and the day it clears our bar, it ships. If a voice agent matters to you now, say so on the walk-through and ask about early access; the businesses that ask first are first in line.
-
It doesn’t Quote prices.
Where that stands todayNot yet. It gathers everything needed to quote, then hands the job to whoever prices it.
The reason, straightSome owners never want a price leaving the building without a human behind it. Others have asked us for exactly this. When we offer quote drafting, it will be a per-business switch. On or off, your call.
-
It doesn’t Talk shop or talk money with your customers, if that’s your rule.
Where that stands todayA per-business setting, written in at setup.
The reason, straightOne build we run carries two hard rules, never price and never get technical, because that’s how that owner runs the business. Another business can run it looser. A setting, not a law.
-
It doesn’t Book jobs into the calendar on its own.
Where that stands todayOff unless you turn it on. Jobs land in your system flagged as not booked, and your office books them in.
The reason, straightEvery business runs booking its own way. Many start with capture and flag, then hand scheduling over later, if ever. Your rules, your dial.
-
It doesn’t Catch SMS leads.
Where that stands todayNot part of today’s promise. There’s a path to it, and the right setup depends on your number, so it’s a walk-through conversation.
The reason, straightYou need texts caught on your existing number, the one painted on the side of the car, not a fresh number nobody knows. That’s the part with nuances. If texted leads matter to you, say so on the walk-through and we’ll tell you straight what’s possible on your setup.
-
It doesn’t Qualify or rank your leads.
Where that stands todayOut of scope. That’s a different product, and we haven’t built it.
The reason, straightThis one answers and captures, so every lead is quotable. Deciding which lead to chase first is a different job. We’d rather do this one properly.
The four things that never change
Everything above is a stance or a setting. These four are laws. Every build carries them, and no version moves them.
-
It never pretends to be human.
Not to your customers, not to anyone.
-
Nothing goes out without your yes, until it has earned the keys.
New setups start with every reply held as a draft for your approval. You hand over one piece at a time, and you can keep any piece in review for as long as you like.
-
It never deletes.
Everything is backed up before it touches a thing.
-
It never stops without a conversation.
The monthly covers the assistant’s AI running costs, and there is no separate AI subscription to buy. If your workload ever outgrows your plan, we’ll say so first, and there is always a path to keep it running.
Where your data sits
Plain words. Each line is how it runs today.
Your assistant runs on its own locked-down server. One business per server, shared with nobody.
We run that server for you. Your data stays yours.
There are no open doors into it from the internet. All access goes through sign-ins we can name.
Your email and your ServiceM8 or Simpro connect with a sign-in, the same way you’d sign in with Google. No passwords held. Your app logins never sit on the assistant’s machine.
Everything it stores is encrypted. So are the backups.
Accounts are invite-only, with two-factor sign-in on every login.
Your server is backed up every six hours, and again before any upgrade we run.
A backup can’t be quietly deleted. Removing one takes a human with a two-factor sign-in, and nothing automated is allowed to do it.
When our own team works on your server, the session is identity-checked and recorded to a separate, locked-down audit account. No untraceable back doors, even for us.
The server’s health is checked every few minutes, around the clock. We usually know before you do.
Straight with your customers
It replies in your words, because it learned them from your past replies. But it never pretends to be a person.
If a customer asks whether they’re dealing with AI, they get a straight answer.
There’s a version of this product where the assistant passes itself off as human and the selling point is that nobody ever finds out. We won’t build that one. Trust is the whole job.
Every enquiry answered. Your name stays good.
The money, in plain terms
One-off install, then a flat monthly with everything in: hosting, care, the coaching sessions, and the assistant’s AI running costs.
Plain Australian dollars, GST stated beside every figure.
Monthly items cancel with 30 days’ notice. That’s the whole exit. There’s no lock-in contract holding this up.
A payment plan is available for the install. Ask on the walk-through.
The numbers, all of them, are on the pricing page. No “from” prices anywhere.
If the limits read right
The next step is a walk-through. A short call with a real person from the team. We look at how leads reach you today, and you see the loop run on your own ServiceM8 or Simpro, or on ours if you’d rather. No prep, no documents, no decisions on the call.
The full story of how it works is on the home page. The numbers are on the pricing page.
