A fair comparison

Choose the worker by the work.

People should keep the calls, the site visits and the judgement. Your AI employee takes the work that happens in front of a computer, inside the systems you already use, and you can teach it the next job the same way you taught it the first.

Same job, five options

Do not compare labels. Compare what gets finished.

Pick one office job. Read down a column to see what that option does, and across a row to see how the five compare on the same question.

The balanced view

Humans win the human jobs.

This is category-level guidance, not a claim about every employee or product. Ask any supplier to demonstrate the full job, including the moment something becomes unclear.

ChatGPT versus an employee

One writes the reminder. One works the account.

This compares standard ChatGPT chat without a custom connected build. Both can use excellent AI models. The difference is whether a person still has to carry the result through the business.

ChatGPT on its own Stops at the answer
You have to notice the overdue invoice and ask

Draft a polite reminder for invoice 1842. It is seven days overdue.

You receive an answer

Hi Sam, just a friendly reminder that invoice 1842 is now seven days overdue…

The work is still yours:

  • You have to check whether it was paid.
  • You have to find the right contact and attach the invoice.
  • You have to copy and send the reply.
  • You have to log the reply and schedule the next chase.

Ends as text you still have to act on

Your AI employee Carries the job through
You set the rule once

Work our overdue invoice ladder. Stop when payment lands. Bring disputes to the office.

Your agent did the work Invoice 1842 followed up

Payment not received. Reminder sent with invoice attached. Customer promised Friday. Next check booked. No dispute raised.

Your agent already:

  • Your agent checked whether invoice 1842 was paid.
  • Your agent used the right contact and attached the invoice.
  • Your agent sent the reminder, logged the reply and booked the next check.

Your team keeps disputes, tone and escalation. The agent carries the routine work.

Two different reasons to choose it

A tradie replaced a task. A technical founder replaced the upkeep.

Grant runs a working trade-business role. Glenn had already built his own advanced setup and still chose a secured, managed foundation.

β€œIt follows up on things so I don’t have to, and then it flags things for me when I need to know about ’em.”

Grant says the quote-follow-up role replaced a VA costing eight hundred dollars a month for that work. He keeps the quoting and the customer judgement.

Glenn Helge from Zocial

β€œI’d been running my own OpenClaw setup before I found ZeroToClaw: 18 agents, multiple Telegram bots, I was pushing it as far as I could.”

β€œZeroToClaw rebuilt the foundation on a secured platform, tuned the self-improving memory loop, and built a custom context plugin so every agent operates the way Zocial does. Now every person on my team has their own AI working alongside them. We’re competing at a different level now.”

The honest answer is sometimes: choose the other option

When the work is mostly phone calls, sensitive conversations, broad judgement or constant real-world context. A good person should keep the work that benefits from being human.
The hourly rate can be lower, so compare the rest of it honestly. Your AI employee works nights, weekends and public holidays, never takes leave, does not need retraining after turnover, and runs the same approved steps every time. It also compounds: each office job you hand over stays handed over, and the next one is quicker to add on top. A strong VA is still a good choice when the work needs human eyes and you are happy to manage the role.
A receptionist product does one job: answer the phone, take a message, make a booking. If unanswered calls are the whole problem, buy that. Your AI employee is not a point product. It works inside the systems your office already uses, and it can be taught any repeatable job that happens in front of a computer. You start with one office job and add the next without buying another tool.
Yes, and Glenn Helge had already built an advanced OpenClaw setup before he came to us. He still chose us to rebuild it. We build and run these agents every week for Australian trade businesses, so we bring both halves: how the agents actually behave once they are live, and how a trade office actually runs. Most teams have one half and learn the other the expensive way. Building it yourself makes sense when you want to own the connections, permissions, testing, security and upkeep.
Then keep the money. This is for businesses where repeatable computer work is already interrupting people, slowing the office or following the owner home.

Compare it on your work

Bring one job your current setup handles badly.

We will walk that job end to end, show you what your AI employee would finish on its own, and tell you straight when another option suits it better.
