Connect Reteno to your AI agent
Reteno is a customer engagement platform for managing contacts, behavioral events, messaging campaigns, and omnichannel communications.
We set up the connection using your own Reteno account, with keys you control, and keep it running. Your agent picks it up and starts doing the work.
What your agent can do in Reteno
Each one is a real action the agent can take on its own, the same things a person clicking around Reteno could do. Read-only by default; write actions are confirmed against your policy.
- Get Account Balance Return monetary balance, credit limit, currency, and remaining prepaid email and SMS quotas for the connected Reteno account.
- Get Account Info Return the Reteno organization and API user associated with the connected account. Use this to verify which account subsequent operations affect.
- Get Contact Return the full Reteno profile for one contact identified by its internal contact ID.
- Get Contact Import Status Return the current state and resulting contact IDs for an asynchronous Reteno contact import started by Upsert Contacts.
- List Address Books Return Reteno contact address books and their assigned field groups and fields.
- List Contact Fields List custom contact fields, their field IDs and keys, data types, allowed values, and validation metadata.
- List Contact Messages Return one page of a contact's email, SMS, push, web push, or App Inbox message history for a required date range.
- List Contacts List one bounded page of Reteno contacts. Optionally filter by external customer ID, email, phone, or name.
- List Segments Search Reteno contact segments by name and return one bounded page with segment IDs and types.
- List Subscription Categories List the organization's contact subscription categories and the keys used to manage communication preferences.
- List Workflows Search Reteno automation workflows by name and return their IDs, status, and tags.
- Track Event Send one non-retractable backend event for an identified contact. A new event type key is created after Reteno accepts its first event.
- Upsert Contact Create or update a Reteno contact in real time and return its Reteno contact ID.
- Upsert Contacts Create or update 1-3000 Reteno contacts asynchronously using one explicit deduplication strategy. Returns an import session ID and immediate failures.
How we connect it
- 1
Connect your account
You create a key in Reteno, a key you create and control, and paste it in once. It lives in a secrets store on your server, not with us.
- 2
Set the guardrails
Read-only by default. You choose which write actions the agent may take, and anything outside that policy gets confirmed with you first.
- 3
We keep it running
Health checks on every connection, updates handled for you, and we watch the first week of activity to make sure the work lands.
