Connect Moderation API to your AI agent

AI Tools 11 actions available

Moderation API provides content detection, human review workflows, author management, and moderation actions for online platforms.

We set up the connection using your own Moderation API account, with keys you control, and keep it running. Your agent picks it up and starts doing the work.

What your agent can do in Moderation API

Each one is a real action the agent can take on its own, the same things a person clicking around Moderation API could do. Read-only by default; write actions are confirmed against your policy.

  • Evaluate Content Without Storage Evaluate content without retaining it or adding it to a review queue, and return policy findings and the recommended moderation action.
  • Execute Moderation Action Apply a discovered moderation action to content items or authors. Actions can reject content or block or suspend authors and may be irreversible; inspect LIST_ACTIONS before calling.
  • Get Account and Quota Return the connected Moderation API account, plan, current project, and current quota values.
  • Get Review Queue Return metadata and item counts for a review queue by ID. Requires the paid review-queue add-on; contact Moderation API sales if review queues are not enabled for the connected organization.
  • Get Wordlist Return one wordlist and its current words by ID.
  • List Moderation Actions List moderation actions available to the organization, optionally restricted to a review queue.
  • List Review Queue Items List and filter one page of moderation items in a review queue. Requires the paid Moderation API review-queue add-on.
  • List Wordlists List the organization's wordlists and their identifiers.
  • Modify Wordlist Words Add words to or remove words from an existing wordlist.
  • Set Review Queue Item Status Mark a review queue item resolved or return it to pending. Requires the paid review-queue add-on.
  • Submit Content for Moderation Evaluate content and allow Moderation API to retain it and add it to a review queue according to the project's configuration.

How we connect it

  1. 1

    Connect your account

You create a key in Moderation API, a key you create and control, and paste it in once. It lives in a secrets store on your server, not with us.

  2. 2

    Set the guardrails

Read-only by default. You choose which write actions the agent may take, and anything outside that policy gets confirmed with you first.

  3. 3

    We keep it running

Health checks on every connection, updates handled for you, and we watch the first week of activity to make sure the work lands.

Moderation API questions, answered.

With a key you create and control. You paste it in once, it is stored in a secrets store on your server, permissions are scoped to the minimum the agent needs, and you can revoke it at any time.
The actions Moderation API's API allows, the same things a person clicking around the app could do. Connections start read-only by default; write actions are confirmed against the policy you set before the agent takes them.
Connections are priced per tool on top of the base plan. Some are included, some are premium. See pricing for how connection charges work.
Standard tools are ready inside 7 business days of the setup call. We test the connection end to end, walk you through how the agent uses it, and watch the first week of activity.
